Minecraft mazes

30 blocky mazes for Minecraft fans. The shapes lean into the square grid the game is famous for, which is exactly what a maze is made of anyway: the creeper face uses its own eyes and mouth as holes the corridors flow around.

Creeper face mazes

Eight boards on the full square face, where the eyes and mouth are holes in the maze itself. Corridors squeeze between the features, and the tight lanes beside the mouth are where most routes go wrong.

Blocky on purpose

A maze is already made of square cells, which makes it the one printable that gets MORE faithful to Minecraft the more honestly you build it. The four shapes here lean into that: a creeper face where the eyes and mouth are actual holes the corridors flow around, a sword from blade tip to pommel, a pickaxe with its drooping head, and a TNT block whose label band is cut clean through the middle of the maze.

These are not official Mojang assets and the page sells nothing; they are original block-silhouette mazes for fans, generated and checked like every other maze on this site: exactly one route, machine-proved before publication.

The shapes change the solving

The creeper is the sneaky one: routes squeeze through the narrow lanes between the face holes, and the corner pockets swallow guesses. The sword is the tall one, with few places to hide a route but plenty of dead ends down the blade. The pickaxe head splits into two drooping pockets of which only one ever matters. The TNT band forces every route around one end or the other, and choosing the wrong end costs half the board. Each comes in easy, medium and hard grid sizes, stated on every card with the measured route and dead end count.

Party bags and quiet tablets-off time

These sheets exist because a Minecraft birthday party needs something on the table that is not a screen. Print a stack of easy creepers for the small guests and hard swords for the older ones; the solution PDFs stay in your folder for disputes. For non-blocky animals and seasonal shapes from the same engine, see the animal mazes and the seasonal pages, and for plain rectangular boards at any size there is always the main mazes page and the Maze Maker.

The usual promises

Free PDFs with the solution page at the end of each file, true A4 pages with a 15mm margin that print uncropped on US Letter, and a catalogue number under every board that identifies that exact maze forever. Print at 100 percent or actual size; the block aesthetic survives draft quality toner without complaint.

How to use these sheets

  1. Pick a sheet and press Print. The file is a PDF sized for A4 and Letter paper.
  2. Print it in black and white at normal quality. None of these sheets need colour ink except the colour by number pages.
  3. Keep the answer page for yourself, or print it too if you want to check the work later.
